About

Four founders One mission

Three ZHAW finance graduates and an IT engineer. Our conviction: AI is transforming finance. The difference is made by those who speak both languages.

  1. AI Consulting · IT-Security · Digitalisierung

    Sebastian Sieber

    Co-Founder · Technology & AI

Over six years of hands-on IT experience in infrastructure and security; today System Escalation Engineer at care4IT AG. Builds his own AI assistants (OpenClaw, NemoClaw) and n8n workflows – bringing a direct sense of what actually holds up in daily operations.

Sebastian has worked in operational IT for over six years, with a focus on infrastructure and IT security at mid-sized companies. At care4IT AG in Zurich he is responsible, as System Escalation Engineer, for escalation cases, internal IT and the quality management for new clients.

In parallel he works hands-on with AI systems: his own LLM environments, assistants and automated workflows, built and run over extended periods. Technologies he recommends are ones he has used himself first.

At Solvea he owns the technological direction and the company's infrastructure and is involved in the operational build-up, from shaping the services to the internal processes. In client mandates his focus is on implementation and its conditions: data storage, processing locations, access and outsourcing.

For around six years Sebastian has been following the capital markets and engaging intensively with company valuation and macroeconomic contexts. He brings this perspective into the team's investment discussions and strategic direction, especially when assessing technology companies.

Sebastian is a certified IT systems specialist (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) and holds certifications including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Cybersecurity Operations (Cisco) and Cyber Threat Hunting.

  2. Advisory · Equity Research · Regulatory

    Thomas Neumann

    Co-Founder · Advisory

Experience across three pillars of finance: equity research at Discover Capital (~EUR 400m AuM), M&A at CVM Capital Value Management, regulatory and transformation consulting at Deloitte. ZHAW graduate in Banking & Finance; FMVA, BIDA and PRINCE2 certified.

Thomas successfully completed his studies in Business Administration with a focus on Banking & Finance at ZHAW. His practical experience spans three central areas of the finance sector: equity research, M&A, and regulatory and transformation consulting.

He gained his analytical experience at a fund boutique specialising in European small- and mid-caps, developing a sound understanding of analysing and valuing companies in the small- and mid-cap space. In M&A he worked at a leading distressed-M&A boutique and supported several distressed and succession mandates. As a result, he has a broad grasp of company analysis, financial modelling, valuation and transaction-related questions.

In addition, he brings advisory experience from the regulatory and transformation space as well as a strong IT and digitalisation background. This lets him combine financial analytical skill with an understanding of regulatory, operational and technological interdependencies.

With his growing EU small-cap tech coverage, his advisory experience and his IT background, he brings the analytical and interdisciplinary skill set that he applies as an analyst at Solvea.

  3. Client Relations · EAM · Family Office

    Loris Suter

    Co-Founder · Business Development

Deep insight into independent wealth management – from trust services (Avalon) through EAM work (most recently Branch Manager Zurich at SwissAmerican Advisors) to multi family office (today Analyst at Swiss Family Group). ZHAW graduate in Banking & Finance.

Loris Suter successfully completed his studies in Business Administration with a focus on Banking & Finance at ZHAW. He gained his first practical experience in trust services, where he mainly looked after Swiss companies. He then moved to an external asset manager, where he served as the first point of contact in direct dealings with American clients. Through this varied experience he combines sound expertise with a keen understanding of the individual needs of his clients.
